30-hour Famine


The 30 hour famine was held on the 11th and 12th of July. All Interactors took part in this meaningful event. Other participants included students from all Forms. Before the famine, students who were taking part were to collect donations with a minimum of RM50 from their friends and families.

During the famine for 30 hours, students were not allowed to eat but drinks were given at certain time intervals. It means that we had to starve ourselves for 30 hours! Many activities were carried out throughout the famine. These activities were aimed to take hunger off the minds of participants and also to allow them to have a fun time.

After 30 hours of starvation, we were looking forward to the lunch in the afternoon the next day! We counted down together for the last 10 seconds...10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1.. Yay ! We had nuggets, mushroom soup and many other delicious food for lunch.
