Carnival 2014: Walt Wesley

Carnival started off with our vice principal, Madam Pearl Moses slamming the gong to signify the beginning of a day filled with fun at every corner.

We had a variety of games and competitions like dunking machine, obstacle course, face painting, human foosball, dodgeball, hit the snowman olaf and many more. There was also a dedication song booth whereby students were allowed to dedicate songs to people of their choice.

A sale of old but new shirts from our previous events was also held. Shirts sold cost between RM 5 and RM 15 shirt. Needless to say, the shirts sold out quickly.

The day ended at 12.30 pm after which the Interactors started cleaning up along with the Form 3 members who were accepted into the club. Overall, the event was a huge success and both Interactors and non-interactors had a blast.

The Interact Club of Wesley Methodist School held it's 40th Annual Installation on the 26th of September with the theme 'Esprit De Corps'. The event was held in the school Chapel and we were honoured to have a few Rotarians as our guests of honour.

The event was kicked off with the 'Negaraku' being sung which was then followed by the Interact Song. Next, Mr Jeya Gobi, our beloved assistant vice principal gave his speech followed by Rotarian Elect President Hardeep Singh. The outgoing president, Int. The video presentation consisted of a walk down memory lane with all the events we had with the outgoing members.

After the video presentation, the incoming president, Int. Nikisya Toh gave her speech. The speech was followed the presentation of a certificate of recognition to the outgoing Form 5 Interactors for their hard work throughout their time in the club. There were also special awards such as 'Most Outstanding Interactor' and 'Most Caring Interactor' was awarded to Ong Kar Yan and Bethany Lim respectively. Following the presentation of certificates to the outgoing Form 5 Interactors, the incoming Form 4 Interactors were installed.

The incoming and outgoing Board of Directors then had their presentation of medals. The outgoing Board of Directors handed their medals to their successor to signify the passing down of their responsibilities.
